³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s state-of-the-art Tangier Campus, situated in the heart of the city, consists of two buildings as well as a sports court. Our Academic Building houses cutting-edge labs and classrooms, office space and a modern auditorium, while our Residential Building includes spacious, well-appointed rooms, fitness and studio space, and an elegant cafeteria. Both these buildings reflect Morocco’s famous architectural style and are designed to meet the high modern standards of similar educational facilities.

As a relief from the rigor of the classroom, many opportunities exist beyond the serenity of the campus, including excursions to destinations in Morocco and Spain, as well as being immersed in the community you'll call home.
Excursions
The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Morocco semester program includes an exciting itinerary of trips to nearby Moroccan destinations — plus a weekend trip to Seville, Spain. Destinations may vary from semester to semester, so please check with the Global Education Program office for the latest programming.
Volunteering
As part of the semester-long study abroad program, we offer a range of volunteer opportunities that help you give back to your new community and enhance your global learning. The university has formed partnerships with La Crèche Orphanage, SPANA (a local animal shelter), Croissant Rouge medical clinic, DARNA (Women & Children's Association) and other local organizations.

Academics
We offer a suite of courses that can meet the needs of all majors. You will enjoy a variety of engaging courses taught in English, plus Arabic language study. All courses are approved by ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ faculty and count toward the core or the major. Please check with your advisers on how best to take advantage of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Morocco and make sure to plan ahead.
Courses with fewer than five students will not enroll.
Cost
Program costs include classes, accommodations, meals, and an itinerary of group excursions. Students are required to arrange their own flights.
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Students
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students keep all ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ scholarships and financial aid and are billed the same tuition as for a traditional on-campus semester, plus standard ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ study abroad room and board rate.
Scholarships
Students participating in a ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ semester abroad program will be automatically awarded a $500 Global Education Scholarship. Students may also apply for the . This scholarship was established by Mrs. Eva M. Downs, whose late husband, Jacques M. Downs, was a much-loved history professor at UNE. The Downs family are champions of global education and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s campus in Morocco. The scholarship was established to provide support for students who might not otherwise be able or inclined to participate in a semester abroad at the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Tangier Campus or other ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ semester-abroad programs.

Students from Other Universities
Non-³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students pay ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ undergraduate semester tuition, general service fee, plus standard ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ study abroad room and board rate. See Student Financial Services for current cost.
